Jeannie Stamberger, PhD
Dr. Stamberger has an extensive background in computer science areas with leading universities including Stanford University (where she advised a 4-year program at the Human Computer Interaction Group for basic data collection software and tools, including 9 masters and PhD projects) and Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley (Adjunct Professor working with Computer Scientists to develop research programs around data gathering and utilization in disaster response). She also brings a deep scientific analytical background from her doctorate in biological sciences, where she developed new analytical and statistical models to derive insights from unique and large datasets. Her work has garnered attention, such as winning a prize in the first ever Hackathon in Silicon Valley (sponsored by Google) for “Tweak the Tweet” (a ready method to enable computer analysis of data provided by untrained citizens in a disaster), and her publication “ButterflyNet” is still cited as an example of revolutionizing the accessibility and analysis time of complex field data.
Dr. Stamberger advised GoPicnic (which had $4M+ in annual sales on Amazon) and started working full time in the channel in early 2016 with Spinning Wheel. Spinning Wheel approached Stamberger to focus full-time on this work, and bring in her expertise in data analysis and proper methodology to optimizing product sales on Amazon, leveraging all the skills of my Stanford Ph.D. to laser focus on this channel.
The AmaZone was initially formed as an arm of the Spinning Wheel brand generator to focus on Amazon channel management with unique and ROI-focused tactical execution for the launch of their brand generator collective. Each company in the collective has Amazon as a core piece of its foundation retail platform. The AmaZone provides analysis and management throughout the channel to the table with unique and ROI-focused tactical execution.

Corporate Growth and Brand Marketing
Ms. Stamberger’s expertise in being a tactical & strategic entrepreneur comes from hard-won lessons in the trenches. After ventures in tech, non-profit and music management, she pioneered the airline snackbox concept in 2004 for United Airlines, and ever since then has built food companies.
She’s served lunch to around 30 million customers with snackbox solutions through GP Concept Labs’ Custom Snackbox division & the retail spin off, GoPicnic Brands; chopped through the ice to launch multiple retail brands in what was effectively a new category, at retailers from Target to Costco to Walgreens to Kroger to Amazon; launched over 200 products, from concept through brand through packaging design through production; and, provided over 250 million passengers with snacks inflight through GPCL’s AirlineMporium food brokerage – which represents more than 75 food, beverage, and foodservice brands to the airline industry.
As a serial entrepreneur, she’s driven to develop new products, launch new brands, and build business, with a sweet spot from $0-$50M. Through The Next BIG Thing Group, she works with multiple companies looking to add tactical know-how to their business strategy and leapfrog to profitability and growth both faster & smarter. Advisory work encompasses product development to marketing to sales strategy to financing & capital raising to Board selection and networking.
Ms. Stamberger brings invaluable experience in scaling companies and brand marketing which is essential to planning, preparing, and successfully managing a dramatic escalation of sales on Amazon.
